This is what is called a thunder jug that I used to plant pansies.

How does this old photo make you feel?

It makes me laugh to remember this.

Is this what you expected to see?

Not at all, but the film was stuck in the camera for years with a dead battery. The film wouldn't advance till one day after seeing the Lost Rolls idea.

What kind of memories does this photo bring back?

It reminds me of my Great Grandmother. The thunder jug is what you use as a bathroom in the middle of the night, instead of going to the outhouse, especially in bad weather. The jug has a lid and is kept under the bed. How different life is here today.

How do you think others will respond to this photo?

I hope it makes people smile and think how easy we have it (at least here is the US) with indoor plumbing.
