You are looking at my father standing on a boat dock at Desert Shores , California which is located on the south shore of the Salten Sea.
How does this old photo make you feel?
The picture reminds me of my dad and the wonderful times we shared at the Salton Sea. The Salton Sea was our forever favorite place in the world. My dad loved every minute he as there. I miss my dad very much!
Is this what you expected to see?
No, I did not expect to see this picture . The roll of film was actually in another person's camera. He only learned what was on the roll when he submitted roll to Lostrolls. Joe contacted me asking if I knew what the pictures were.
What kind of memories does this photo bring back?
The picture brings back memories of my dad. It also returns me to a very happy time in my life that i was lucky enough to share with my dad.
How do you think others will respond to this photo?
I do not think people will understand what emotions go with the picture, I think they will just think it is a picture of a man standing on a dock.
