Karen Kressin 01
1. When was this photo taken?
Unknown - maybe about 2006
2. Where was this photo taken?
Unknown, maybe Lawrence KS
3. Who took this photo?
4. What are we looking at here?
A very interesting library of someone I do not know. The roll only had about 7 pictures on it, and all but the last one are of people I do not know, and places I do not recognize. The last image is of our daughter, in our house. Somehow the camera and its film was in the presence of strangers, and ended up in a most intimate relationship to our family. A mystery! Thank you for developing this for us. I will continue to seek answers about who and what are pictured.
5. How does this old photo make you feel?
A little disoriented because of how such diverse images could end up on one roll of film.
6. Is this what you expected to see?
Absolutely not! As I said above, the people and places are unknown to us.
7. What kind of memories does this photo bring back?
There are no memories, but I have seen libraries like this in other homes. It is the type of library of a person who loves books, LP albums, perhaps travel (the globe) and the people in the framed portraits.
8. How do you think others will respond to this photo?
I think others will recognize this type of library containing much loved books and other objects. It seems to indicate a rich and full life of the mind.
